Contest Terms and Conditions(Required) Eligibility & Entry:
RENEWED OUTDOORS COMMUNITY ART CALENDAR CONTEST
Renewed Outdoors invites artists of all ages and experience levels to submit original artwork for consideration in our upcoming Community Art Calendar.
Twelve winning entries will be selected, with one work of art featured for each month of the calendar.
ART CONTEST THEME
The inspiration for each submission must be the wreath icon featured in the Renewed Outdoors company logo.
The wreath may be incorporated into the artwork:
In whole or in part
As the primary subject or a prominent design element
In a realistic, representational, stylized, or abstract form
Through any artistic interpretation that remains recognizable as being inspired by the Renewed Outdoors wreath icon
The Renewed Outdoors name, logo, wreath icon, and related brand elements remain the exclusive property of Renewed Outdoors. Entrants are granted limited permission to use the wreath icon solely for the purpose of creating and submitting artwork for this contest.
ACCEPTED ART FORMS
All forms of artistic media will be considered, including but not limited to:
Painting
Drawing
Illustration
Photography
Digital artwork
Collage
Mixed media
Sculpture
Woodworking
Fiber art
Ceramics
Metalwork
Other two-dimensional or three-dimensional art forms
All submissions must be the entrant’s original work and must not contain artwork, photographs, characters, logos, trademarks, or other materials owned by another person or organization, except for the authorized use of the Renewed Outdoors wreath icon for this contest. Please be sure that all submitted art includes your name and phone number on the back.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL ARTWORK
Artists submitting sculpture, ceramics, woodworking, fiber art, metalwork, or another three-dimensional form must first submit clear photographs of the completed artwork for review.
Do not deliver three-dimensional artwork to Renewed Outdoors until the submission has been reviewed, and the artist has received instructions to do so.

Photographs should clearly show the entire work and may include additional views that demonstrate its dimensions, texture, depth, and construction.
ARTIST RECOGNITION AND PRIZES
Each selected artist will receive:
Publication of the winning artwork in the Renewed Outdoors Community Art Calendar
An artist byline printed with the artwork in the calendar
A published social media profile introducing the artist and their work
Public recognition as a participant in the contest
A prize provided by Renewed Outdoors
A prize, product, service, gift card, or other award provided by the business sponsoring the artist’s featured month
Complimentary copies of the completed calendar
The awards, prizes, promotional exposure, publication, and other benefits provided to a selected artist constitute the artist’s compensation for the artwork and for the transfer of ownership and intellectual property rights described in these rules.
OWNERSHIP OF SUBMITTED ARTWORK
By submitting artwork to the Renewed Outdoors Community Art Calendar Contest, the entrant acknowledges and agrees that the submission is being made subject to these official rules.
Upon submission and acceptance of the entry, the entrant irrevocably assigns and transfers to Renewed Outdoors all ownership rights in the submitted artwork, including ownership of the original physical artwork when the original is delivered to Renewed Outdoors.
Submitted and delivered artwork will not be returned unless Renewed Outdoors agrees otherwise in writing.
ASSIGNMENT OF COPYRIGHT AND REPRODUCTION RIGHTS
By submitting an entry, the entrant irrevocably assigns, transfers, and conveys to Renewed Outdoors all worldwide rights, title, and interest in and to the submitted artwork, including all copyrights and all rights of reproduction, publication, distribution, display, adaptation, modification, promotion, advertising, merchandising, licensing, and commercial use.
This assignment includes the exclusive right for Renewed Outdoors to:
Photograph, scan, digitize, reproduce, print, publish, and display the artwork
Include the artwork in calendars, advertisements, websites, social media, email marketing, printed materials, displays, signage, packaging, promotional products, and merchandise
Crop, resize, format, retouch, alter, adapt, combine, or otherwise modify the artwork for production, design, advertising, or promotional purposes
Create derivative works based upon the artwork
Reprint or republish the artwork in future editions or other Renewed Outdoors publications
Use the artwork for commercial and noncommercial purposes
Register the copyright in the name of Renewed Outdoors
License, assign, sell, or otherwise authorize others to use the artwork
The transfer is exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, transferable, sublicensable, and royalty-free.
The entrant relinquishes any right to reproduce, publish, sell, license, distribute, display, merchandise, or otherwise commercially use the submitted artwork after submission unless Renewed Outdoors provides prior written permission.
Renewed Outdoors will have no obligation to make additional payments, royalties, licensing fees, or other compensation beyond the prizes, publication, promotional recognition, and benefits expressly described in the contest rules.
Renewed Outdoors reserves all copyrights and reproduction rights in submitted artwork.
ARTIST CREDIT
Renewed Outdoors intends to identify each selected artist through:
An artist byline printed with the artwork in the calendar
The artist’s name in contest-related social media content
A profile featuring the selected artist and their work
The entrant authorizes Renewed Outdoors to publish the entrant’s name, photograph, biography, statements, community, and information about the submitted work for contest, calendar, advertising, promotional, and publicity purposes.
While Renewed Outdoors intends to provide artist credit when reasonably practical, accidental omission of a credit will not invalidate the transfer of ownership or copyright and will not create an obligation to pay additional compensation.
ENTRANT REPRESENTATIONS
By entering, the artist represents and warrants that:
The submitted artwork is original and was created by the entrant.
The entrant is the sole owner of the artwork and has full authority to transfer all rights to it.
The entry does not infringe another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or intellectual property rights.
No artificial intelligence-generated, stock, purchased, copied, traced, or third-party material is included unless Renewed Outdoors has specifically authorized it in writing.
No other person or organization holds ownership of interest, lien, license, or claim to the artwork.
The entrant has obtained appropriate permission from any identifiable person depicted in the artwork.
The entrant has read, understood, and accepted these official rules.
SELECTION OF WINNERS
Renewed Outdoors will select 12 winning entries based on factors that may include:
Creativity
Originality
Interpretation of the wreath theme
Visual appeal
Suitability for calendar reproduction
Image quality
Community interest
Compatibility with the Renewed Outdoors brand
Renewed Outdoors reserves the right to reject any entry, decline to select a winner for any category or month, request revisions, determine the month in which an entry will appear, and make all final decisions regarding selection, publication, design, and placement.
Submission does not guarantee selection or publication.
MINORS
An entrant under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian complete and sign the submission and rights assignment agreement.
The parent or legal guardian must approve the entrant’s participation, the transfer of the original artwork, the assignment of copyright, the publication of the entrant’s name and work, and all other contest terms.
SUBMISSION AGREEMENT
A completed submission form and signed rights-assignment agreement must accompany every entry.
By signing or electronically accepting the submission agreement, the entrant confirms that the entrant has read and voluntarily accepts all contest rules, including the permanent transfer of the original artwork and all copyright, publishing, reproduction, licensing, and commercial-use rights to Renewed Outdoors. You also agree to take responsibility that the art and all its elements are your original creation. Only original art is eligible for consideration for the contest.
